Bentley Speed Six - Raw Power!

The Speed Six was powered by a reliable and sturdy six cylinder 6.5 litre engine featuring four valves per cylinder, dry sump and twin spark ignition, race tuned the engine was capable of up to 200hp output, tuning was mainly on the intake manifold.

Celebrated "Bentley Boys" Tim Birkin, Woolf Barnato and Glen Kidston use of the Bentley Speed Six in the late 1920's and early 1930's resulted in the Bentley Speed Six becoming the most successful racing car of it's day and Bentley's entire racing history.

The Bentley Speed Six  won numerous prestigious races including both the 1929 and 1930 "24 Hours of Le Mans" as well as many significant podium positions at Brooklands and various Tourist Trophy races.
